Bridget K. Sullivan, of Sherman & Howard, represents numerous clients on all aspects of estate and family wealth planning, including sophisticated wealth transfer strategies and integration of those strategies with personal, business and tax goals. She advises business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals on tax and estate planning strategies, including family gifting strategies, charitable giving techniques and business succession planning and advises clients in the matters of estate administration, trust administration, and handles trust and estate litigation matters in probate court, Colorado Court of Appeals, and Colorado Supreme Court. Ms. Sullivan has prepared hundreds of prenuptial agreements and post-marital agreements and acts as expert consultant and witness regarding trust interests in Colorado divorce cases. She is named in The Best Lawyers in America© for Tax Law, Trust, and Estates from 2014-present and is listed in Colorado Super Lawyers from 2009-present. She received a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School and Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Regis College.
Rebecca C. Alexander's practice at BakerHostetler, consists of high-end family law and fiduciary/estate litigation for families with estates valued upwards of $5 million, routinely involving estates in the $25 million to $100 million range. She also frequently serves as a consultant for divorce lawyers on trust issues and takes a hands-on approach in complex divorces involving substantial assets, business valuations, tax and trust issues. Having drafted hundreds of marital agreements throughout the country, Rebecca utilizes insight from all aspects of her family law and estate litigation practice to help her clients individually as they consider the types of provisions that could be most beneficial for them. Rebecca is listed in The Best Lawyers in America© in the area of Family Law. She is a member of the firm-wide Women's Committee and Investment Committee, a member of the Denver office’s Executive Committee and is the office's Finance Partner. Ms. Alexander received a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law, cum laude, Order of the Coif, Northwestern University Law Review and a B.A. from Swarthmore College.
